Merry Christmas!!

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like eskimos.

Everybody knows
A turkey and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from 1 to 92
Although it's been said many times,
Many ways,
"Merry Christmas to you."

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from 1 to 92
Although it's been said many times,
Many ways,
"Merry Christmas to you."

Graduation Day

Today is the last day of school, and we really made full use of the time we were given.

In the morning, Tint Khine, Timothy, Boon Chuan and I came at our usual timings. But we decided to do something stupid. When the school bell rang, we walked out of the school gate like nobody's business, and went one big round to make ourselves late for school. As expected we got our late slip, and after making our run around the school complex, we took pictures with Mr Singh. Jerry and Matthew came joining us when they realised that we were late too.

Spent 4 periods in P.E. Blisters all over my feet.

Concert in the school hall. Ms Cheryl Chee is freaking hot. Yes, HOT! *wink*wink*

Had buffet in the school canteen before heading home.

Memories of Queenstown Secondary School, could never be forgotten. All those friendships, and gossips that spiced up my school life.

I'll miss all my friends and teachers that were always with me during this past 4 years.

Photographs please send to me through MSN Messenger for hosting, so that we can share with one and other. Thanks in advance.

Mr Ng's Baby

Well I've lied about my promise to leave my comp. But so did Mr Ng lied about not having a baby.

Today is his daughter's first month birthday, and we went to visit Mr Ng at his place. We really had a fun time there. Some of us were playing Halo2, some playing monopoly and we found out something really insane. Mr Ng's a real hardcore comic everything dude. He has a room filled with his 20 years of comics, models, and dvd collection. Not to mention that he's actually freaking rich. For example, He has 2 versions of Star Wars Trilogy Box Set, and 2 Halo2 games. I must visit his house for some gaming sessions after my O levels.

Before all these excitement took place... Juan Juan, Geraldine, Wai Ip, Alwin, Bing Yu and George was with me at Catholic JC's open house. The place is amazing. They have a freaking cool auditorium where those art performances take place. We spent most of our time at the rifle range, where we had to chance to play with air pistols and rifles. Aiming with the air pistol was tough, but the air rifle was much easier as you can also use your other hand to support the gun, making it much more stable.

I was the only one among the group that managed to get a bullseye. Here's a scan of the score. By the way, the paper was reused, so I didn't actually made all those shots.

After the open house, we went to Far East Plaza for chicken rice before Ms Cheryl Chee picked us up at The Forum to Mr Ng's place.

That's about it! Hope I could restrain myself from the computer long enough till my exams are over.

All the best for your mock + O Levels guys!!! And...to that special someone, I'll miss you :)

The Used

Cut Up Angels

If we cut out the bad
Well then we'd have nothing left
Like I cut up your mouth
The night I stuffed it all in
And you lied to the angels
Said I stabbed you to death
If we go at the same time
They'll clean up the mess

I lost my head
You couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a gun

Watch you bite into the bottle
Watch me kick out the chair
Let you chew up the glass
And laughed as you just hung there
I had thought of rose petals most perfectly pure
Then I thought of your petals
And the abuse they've been through

I lost my head
You couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a gun
You lost your head
I couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a...
Almost feels like a...
Almost feels like a gun
Whoa whoa

I told the angels
Cant stay in heaven
I asked the devil, the devil, the devil
If we cut out the bad well then we'd have nothing left
Like I cut up your angels
Yeah you stabbed me to death

I lost my head
You couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a gun
You lost your head
I couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels just like a gun, yeah!

I lost my head
You couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a gun
I lost my head
You couldn't come
This lust to my brain almost feels like a...
Almost feels like a...
Almost feels like a gun
Feels like a gun,
Feels like a gun,
Feels like a gun,
Feels like a GUN.

Lantern Festival

It was lantern festival today I guess.. But only realised it, when Juan Juan messaged me that there was a bunch of crowd at the park beside my block. I hurried to the staircase and took some pics lol... The chinese songs were sucky but the malay songs had some nice tunes to it, especially the bass and the guitar haha...

Practicals

Finally the prelim practicals are over and we're moving on to theory. Btw have you guys watch Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children the movie? I can tell you that it's one of the best action movie I've seen. Anyway, I caught the movie "The Longest Yard" played by Adam Sandler and other famous celebrities like Nelly.. It was both funny and inspiring.

It's Math tomorrow, and Social Studies the day after, guess its time for me to study :D Later all.

Shines

This is my Lvl 43 Warrior on Kalecgos, Shines.

Well its Monday, and thankfully I didn't have to wake up early to go school. It was the preliminary practical exams for those taking the sub-sciences. Tomorrow is just pure Biology and Physics practical, but I'm really afraid that cockroaches would be one of the specimens in the Biology practical. Seeing it already makes me sick, not to mention drawing it in details. Good luck to those having their prelims this month! All the best!

World of Warcraft Frenzy

I'm hooked on to World of Warcraft right now.. I've a character on Kalecgos server, a level 37 Warrior called Shines. Been playing it non-stop for the past few weeks. Anyway, English Prelims is over and I'm now enjoying the week, away from school. Well not totally away. There are extra classes like Biology and A.Math still being held. Not totally boring I must say.

The famous Xiang Jun has left Singapore 2 days ago, back to Croydon in the United Kingdom. Met up with him at Terminal 1 around 7:50 after having dinner at Fish & Co. with my parents. Surprisingly his older sister was there too. His family is very sociable, and Xiang's mum is a total paparazi :D Took pictures of us while she walked in front of us, camera facing backwards. Flashes of light catching our eyes almost every single moment.

Oh yeah Timothy has finally revived his blog, and hopefully this time he doesn't abandon it, because his previous one had some good shit in it. Check out his blog under the links to the left :) Good day all!

True

I won't talk
I won't breathe
I won't move till you finally see
That you belong with me

You might think I don't look
But deep inside
In the corner of my mind
I'm attached to you
I'm weak
It's true
Cuz I'm afraid to know the answers
Do you want me too?
Cuz my heart keeps falling faster

I've waited all my life
To cross this line
To the only thing thats true
So I will not hide
It's time to try
Anything to be with you
All my life I've waited
This is true

You dont know what you do
Everytime you walk into the room
I'm afraid to move
I'm weak
It's true
I'm just scared to know the ending
Do you see me too?
Do you even know u met me?

I've waited all my life to cross this line
To the only thing thats true
So I will not hide
It's time to try anything to be with you
All my life I've waited

This is true

I know when I go I'll be on my way to you
The way thats true

I've waited all my life to cross this line
To the only thing thats true
So I will not hide
It's time to try anything to be with you
All my life I've waited

This is true

Chinese O Levels Result

Well miracuslously I've obtained a B3 for my Chinese. As you can see from the left of my blog, I've actually improved :D Well hope everyone is satisfied with their results, and don't feel sad cause there's always the November Paper to retake if you feel that you can do much better. If this is the best that you've done so far, please don't retake. You'll only spend more time on Chinese. I would rather you spend the time on other subjects like Math and Science. Good job to everyone!

Sad Night

You aren't hallucinating, yes, I'm blogging at 4:25am in the morning. Had my GCSE English Oral exam yesterday at the Geography room, where we had to bear with the chilly air-conditioned environment, with the sky pouring down endless supply of water. You might be wondering why would I call this post a "Sad Night", well today I'm having my Math mock exam after school, probably the day will end off late. But all these tests and exams don't really matter to me, it's something else... Something personal... Oh well, most of my close friends already know what I'm talking about. But for those who don't, you'll know the pain when the time has come.

Listening to "Bowling for Soup - Girl All the Bad Guys Want" and I think it's pretty cool song. Just a note to you MTV viewers, the song "Sugar We're Goin Down" by Fall Out Boy is one of the most irritable songs to me so far. Reason? The chorus. Go try and decode what the hell is the vocalist singing in the chorus. I can bet you wouldn't know what the fuck is he singing until you check the lyrics online. His mouth is shaped pretty weird, so you probably won't be able lip read either. Dieing to hear the shit music? Message on msn.

Going to bed soon, don't know what to say. Just hope today will turn out as perfect as it could be. If not the blood vessels in my heart will burst into microscopic bits and pieces, sharp enough to pierce through the bloody fucking skin of everyone around me. So don't provoke me.

Random: Someone get me domain. Please?

National Day 05

Well I was forced by Xiang Jun to go out with him and his 4C classmates to watch the fireworks at Esplanade. Though we didn't really enjoy the presence of smokers around us, the fireworks that exploded into the air was dazzling, adding to the noisy atmosphere.
We headed to the food court at Marina something (I simply can't remember the location) and had our dinner cum supper there. It was 10pm, Xiang and I was rushing to Orchard Road to catch the 10:20pm movie, Stealth. Obviously, we didn't make it on time as the the freaking taxi drivers wouldn't stop for us. Assholes. So we end up taking the train as a last resort. Upon reaching Cineleisure at 10:50pm, we realised that the next show was like at 11pm+ that was freaking late. So we did a dumb thing, and bought the 10:20pm tickets, and rushed into the theatre, catching the climex just on time. It was a pretty good movie, didn't really turn out that bad as I thought it would. And yea ended our night, taking the money-sucking taxi waiting outside the complex. The midnight surcharge has changed, and it goes by distance/minute.

Xiang has really changed since the last time I met him at the airport. His hair is all long now, styled by his sister/friends at England. He has a freaking black-diamond ear stud on his left ear. Look like a fucking punk now lol... And he's trying to pull me to England to study with him. SGD 20k per year I don't think I could afford that lol... Well fuck he's the top in school there.

The Long Weekend

Well long time since I've posted something on this blog. The weekends are here, and it's gonna be a long one, cause Monday is just National Day Celebration, followed by Tuesday's actual National Day, then Wednesday's public holiday. But Thursday is my GCSE English Oral, and I'm smack in the center of the group. High chance of getting low marks. Anyway I'm struggling to learn Chemistry as I flunked my topical tests given by Mdm Teoh. Damn....I wouldn't want to get less than an A1 for O levels.

School of Rock

Today after church, went to the nearby Junction 8 for some light shopping and eating with my mum and brother. My mum had $200 voucher to spend on any Junction 8 outlet, so yea we got everything for free. Something caught my eye as I was about to step on the escalator. A sign board. "School of Rock @ Open Plaza, Junction 8, 24th July" OMG I thought to myself, this surely was my lucky day. Guess who I met while I was watching the performances? Farhan!! Lol... Anyway there was this band, with a freaking good lead guitarist. They played a song called "Bleaked" which had this amazing cool solo, and he dominated it. Well sadly, TiggerishFlies do not have the time to actually join these competitions. Maybe it was fate that did not made us join the competition, so that we could improvise on our skills.

Tata!! A new week of school begins once more :D

SMSS Humanities Challenge

Today a batch of the Secondary 3 and 4 went to support the group of four, mainly consisting of Timothy, Jerry, James and JunTing in the St Margret's Secondary School Humanities Challenge. Their performance on stage was great, and their presentation on "Singapore in the Year 2020" in my opinion was the best among the rest. Though there was tight competition between the schools (CHIJ Toa Payoh, Farfield Methodist, Monk's Hill, Raffles Instituion), they managed to emerge as 2nd :D Check out James' blog to find out about his experience :)

Btw sidetrack... I saw my Primary One crush at the bus stop while I was travelling on the bus, on my way home from the SMSS Humanities Challenge. She looked the same though. Hopefully she recognised me after that short stare.

Myriad of Colours

“Ahhhh, finally a break from all the work,” I thought to myself as I cruised the long-stretched road, on my red slick convertible Porsche. Beside me sat my beautiful wife, Chloe. With her long blonde hair blown back by the wind, her face glittered like an angel under the morning sun. Nothing could be more fantastic then just the two of us out to our private cottage, away from the hectic life that lay in New York City.

Our cottage sat in the vast greenery, unbothered by any machinery. The serene environment provides a great place for my wife to start on her new book “The Life”,
which is about the colourful life of childhood. We started off the day having a picnic at the cottage’s backyard, where we lied there side by side staring at the cotton-like clouds that floated in the blue sky.

The moment lasted like a life-time, until dusk arrived when we headed back in, to
prepare for the night that awaited us. With the water from the well now boiling under the fireplace and the bed ready, Chloe started on her book. Now all I could do was admire the stars that blanketed the sky from horizon to horizon. I stood at the living room window, dazzled by the stars, which immune my senses to time.

By the time I came to realise that it was already pass midnight, my wife had already went to sleep. So I decided to drag my tired body to bed. An unearthly red glow in the sky caught my attention as I headed to the bedroom. Hurriedly, I made my way to the backyard, only to hear explosions and gatling of guns coming from the city’s direction.

A sense of fear went down my back as the cold icy wind howled at me. Before I could react within time, the patch of forest not far away from my backyard was now caught on fire. What once was a beautiful quiet scenery, now burned in flames and gave off the unearthly red glow that was seen in the sky. Frantically, I woke my wife up, and explained to her the events that were happening, as we packed and moved to the bomb shelter underneath the cottage.

The small but cosy bomb shelter had all the essential stuff we needed to survive for a month. Only a small light bulb hanging from the ceiling lit the room. Chloe and I hugged each other as the clock ticked passed dawn. We emerged out the bomb shelter to a place never before seen. A flat piece of land, covered with ashes and fires still burning, nothing was left. The colours of life faded past before my very eyes. Memories of everything I had got deleted, just like the devasting scene in front of me. Tears rolled down my eyes as I held Chloe’s hand and walked on the empty wasteland, in search of other that survived the total annihilation.

Window Smashin'

I awoke to bad weather this morning, enduring the heavy rain drops as I made my way to school for Chemistry class. After Chemistry, I immediately made my way back home, in fear that I might go else where with Kian Teon, Tint Khine and Wai Ip and spend money again. Arrived home only to find 2 guys fixing up the faulty windows. Did not care less, I played Dota 6.10 while they did their thing. During the game, I suddenly heard 'woop' and 'piang'. Yes you guessed it, the guy dropped the fucking window down 11 stories!!! It damaged the roof tiling of the shelter at my block. I know you are excited, but I will take the pictures later :D

Fantastic 4

Went to catch the movie today after school with Amanda and Wan Lin. Overall the story seems okay, but the action seems pretty short to me heh. The only character that's cool among the 4 is the Human-Torch, and the only dumb phaggot is THE THING, he should have stayed in his original self rather then being dumb and went back being the big phaggot of all time. It's getting pretty late so I think I'm turning in now. Good luck to those having Chinese Listening Comprehension this friday!

Btw how was Good Charlotte's concert for those who went?

Science Practicals

Today I had my Physics and Chemistry practical. Between this two, I think that Physics is by far the easier one. Chemistry is tough, as you wouldn't know what gas to test, or what to expect. I think I'm going to get myself a Chemistry practical guidebook, if not I doubt I would pass my O Levels.

This is the last hurdle everyone! Do your best!!

Violence Essay

“Hey this looks rather nice on me,” I said to myself as I modeled myself in front of the mirror, happily choosing clothes for this summer. Madison Mall as usual is filled with people of all ages, ranging from the locals to the tourists. It has famous restaurants to dine in, big screen theatres for movie viewing pleasure, and of course department stores with piles of heavily discounted clothes for us shoppers to rummage through.

As I chose the last piece, I heaved the pile of unsorted tanktops, skirts and blouses to the counter with a sigh of relief. While the cashier was slowly scanning the price tags, my eyes slowly wandered off, observing the various people present. A man dressed in a black t-shirt, jeans and covered with a shabby brown jacket caught my eye. He was sweating profusely as he browsed through the line up of shirts displayed, looking towards cashier every now and then.

“Phew that is a lot of clothes,” as the cashier smiled at me, while she scanned the last price tag. Focus now back on the cashier, I returned a smile and flashed my platinum card. Happily I glided my way towards the exit with both hands carrying several shopping bags. “Nothing can get better then this,” I thought to myself. “Bang!” a deafening sound echoed the store, tearing the happiness away from me.

I fell to the floor in fear, eyes closed, with both hands still clinging on to the shopping bags and an image of devastation hung in my head. I plucked up my courage and glanced at the source of the gunshot. To my shock, it was the man I noticed earlier! He was pointing a silver metallic pistol at the cashier, ready to fire any second.

“Hand over the money in the cash register now!” commanded the robber, as he threw an empty black bag at the cashier. Terrified, the cashier nodded her head and hurriedly filled the bag in no time. As the robber went up to collect the loot, two policemen came barging through the doors behind me. The gun now pointed towards my direction, made my heart skipped a beat as I fell even lower to the floor. Another few gun shots was heard, as I felt the two policemen falling down to the floor. Blood now stained my glittering t-shirt, hands and face, while I lay there, unable to react to what has happened.

The door blew open as the robber took the bag running away into his freedom. What
was left was only the two motionless policemen in a pool of blood, and the blood-stained shoeprints of the robber. Not long after, “bang!” another gunshot heard from a distant.

War of the World

Today went out to catch War of the World with Mike, Matthew, Kian Teon and Ben. As usual, Plaza Singapura was filled with youth and every single seat was booked. So we had no other choice but to head back to Great World City. To my surprise not much people was there until the evening. Overall the movie was action-packed, but I think that they rushed the ending. Would have been better if they came up with a better ending. I think for 7 bucks it was quite worth it. Rushed my Geography holiday homework, which was due 1 week ago, when i reached home around nine. Watched this amazing motor car video about the Porsche 911 Turbo, and boy it was fast! The GTR wasn't that bad either, but the Ferrari 360 Modena was a big dissappointment. Well I think I better hit the sheets before I turn up late for school again!

Solos and more Guitar Solos

Finally i've mastered the solo in Sum 41 - Handle This!!!! Feels so freaking good when you actually can play something. Today I'm going to Sim Lim Square to meet up with my forum friends and collect my VR-Zone Polo shirt. Spent the whole morning chatting on msn and playing my guitar, wonder when will I decide to start on my long weekend homework. Seems like my XBOX has to wait for a few more months before its gets an upgrade to a 80gb/120gb hdd.

Sweet Sixteen

Yep...I turn 16 today =) But had to spend my special day going through my MT Oral Examination. Haha, the passage was okay, but I struggled through the conversation part. I'm almost able to play the guitar solo in Sum 41 - The Hell Song. Gotta get some tips from Jerry who already mastered it.. >.< Well thanks Amanda for giving me a new pencil box for my birthday! The previous one was already decaying with the correction fluid masterpiece on it. Good luck to everyone taking the oral examination!

6E Class Gathering

Today I went to my primary school class gathering at Orchard Road. It was pretty much the same as every year, boring. We stood around places like in Wisma Atria, Cineleisure thinking about what to do, but still did not have a single idea. Wanted to play pool, but yeah age restriction, 16 years old and above. Man only 9 days left to my 16th birthday. To those who actually bother to read about my daily life, buy me a present!!! :)

Tranquility

Tranquility, the state of being free from stress and disturbance, is something which many living in their own hectic working lives often desire. Singapore as we know of today, is a country advancing both economically and technologically. Being career minded and all caught up with work is nothing to be surprised of.

Everyday towards the bustling city, subway trains carries sandwiched businessmen who are rushing off to manage their busy lives. People are becoming a lot similar to the colonies of worker ants that work day and night, neglecting the essential parts of life. Some living just to make ends meet, and some just wishing for a successful career with large sums of money stored in their savings account.

What have they missed in life? I would say plenty of things. If they could just take a moment and step outside their preoccupied lives, I am sure that they would find a more tranquil and enjoyable life.

They could certainly make full use of their holidays by living in the serene environment of Dubai, or the family entertained theme parks of North America, such as the world renowned Disneyland. For the adventure seekers, New Zealand provides the excellent location for trekking and sea activities, with beautiful sceneries soothing for the eyes and memorable pictures to bring back home.

Even for the real busy people in modern society traveling aboard need not be the only option to their door to tranquility. Amidst the busy city and highly advanced society, with computers and television sets sitting at home, beautiful sceneries of nature are often being left unnoticed. After a mind-boggling day at work, sitting at the beach viewing the sun set, is something that settles both the mind and the heart. With the amber glow of the sun reflecting off the vast spread sea, and the silhouette of seagulls coming into view, there is certainly nothing more breathtaking than it.

Students these days receive a larger amount of stress as compared to those in the past. But even they have to take alternatives to release their stress. As students, they cannot possibly always be spending money watching movies and shopping the never ending streets of shopping districts. Being a student myself, I found many things around me rather lovely after taking another closer look. Doing house chores is common in most teenagers’ life, and taking out the thrash is probably one of the basic things to do. Living in a high-rise apartment, is an advantage to me, because after taking out the thrash, I could just lean onto the corridor railings and admire the brightly dotted lights of the concrete jungle and the moonlit sky, unknowingly throwing away the troubles in my head.

We are all oblivious to the simple things of life which can mean so much to us. If we take a closer look at them, I believe that tranquility comes from within and we should treasure every single moment of it.

Boxcar Racer

There Is
This vacation's useless
These white pills aren't kind
I've given a lot of thought on this 13 hour drive
I miss the grinded concrete where we sat past 8 or 9
And slowly finished laughing in the glow of our headlights
I've given a lot of thought to the nights we use to have
The days have come and gone
Our lives went by so fast
I faintly remember breathing on your bedroom floor
Where I laid and told you but you swear you loved me more

Do you care if I don't know what to say
Will you sleep tonight or will you think of me
Will I shake this off pretend its all okay
That there someone out there who feels just like me
There is

Those notes you wrote me
I've kept them all
I've given a lot of thought of how to write you back this fall
With every single letter in every single word
There will be a hidden message about a boy that
Loves a girl
Do you care if I don't know what to say
Will you sleep tonight or will you think of me
Will I shake this off
Pretend its all okay that there's someone out there who feels just like me
There is

Do you care if I don't know what to say?
Will you sleep tonight or will you think of me
Will I shake this off
Pretend its all okay that there's someone out there who feels just like me

Do you care if I don't know what to say?
Will you sleep tonight or will you think of me
Will I shake this off
Pretend its all okay that there's someone out there who feels just like me
There is

TiggerishFlies Update

TiggerishFlies Update:
We've finally scraped the previous riff of our song, and now we're moving on to a better and of course...nicer riff. Blogging at Jerry's house right now, nothing better to do. Afterall Mike, Jerry, Wai Ip and Lincoln are all watching Tennis and Boxing which didn't much interest me that much. After which, I'm going to follow Lincoln on a train ride back to his home (Hougang), which is a freaking far and long ride. Hope I could survive the ride back home on the bus.

Okie time for me to get off the computer and join the rest at the sofa..Laterz!

GOAL!!!!

Yesterday went out with KianTeon, Huimin, Wai Ip and Mike to the national stadium to watch the Causeway Challenge between Singapore and Malaysia. Before I talk about the match, let me tell you what I saw at Tiong Bahru Plaza..
It was the Singapore Arts Festival doing their performances again. At first I thought it's some bullshit thing which doesn't worth a clap. But at another glance, I spotted a small kid playing the drums on stage. He was really really young!! He played to the music, like Travis at his concerts..thought not that fast haha.
Okay the match was a victory, Singapore scored an amazing 2 nil against Malaysia, despite their terrible performance last night. Their striker kept on tripping on the ball, and almost did an embarrasing stunt that might cause us high blood pressure. He did all the cross-overs on the ball at 93 minutes, again almost tripped on the ball. Thank god he managed to pass the ball to the center and finished the spectacular goal. During the match, we were laughing our heads off because of the bullshit that the people behind us were speaking.. They seem to be newbies at soccer, only experienced on betting goals.. Cheers Singapore =)

1st Week of June

Well I usually spend most of my June holidays in fun and joy..But this year was an exception. First 2 weeks of this year's June holidays is totally filled with classes that ends later then the usual time.
Today, was the 2nd gathering of my band at Jerry's house. Dang Jerry can really make solos/riffs/lyrics, it just comes in naturally to him..Wished I had that sort of talent. TiggerishFlies is making the first serious song of our new album, which is untitled at the moment, and probably will be named once we're pretty much halfway done..Wonder when's that though :D

Blink 182

A Letter to Elise

Oh Elise it doesn't matter what you say
I just can't stay here every yesterday
Like keep on acting out the same
The way we act out
Every way to smile
Forget
And make-believe we never needed
Any more than this
Any more than this

Oh Elise it doesn't matter what you do
I know I'll never really get inside of you
To make your eyes catch fire
The way they should
The way the blue could pull me in
If they only would
If they only would
At least I'd lose this sense of sensing something else
That hides away
From me and you
There're worlds to part
With aching looks and breaking hearts
And all the prayers your hands can make
Oh I just take as much as you can throw
And then throw it all away
Oh I throw it all away
Like throwing faces at the sky
Like throwing arms round
Yesterday
I stood and stared
Wide-eyed in front of you
And the face I saw looked back
The way I wanted to
But I just can't hold my tears away
The way you do

Elise believe I never wanted this
I thought this time I'd keep all of my promises
I thought you were the girl I always dreamed about
But I let the dream go
And the promises broke
And the make-believe ran out...

So Elise
It doesn't matter what you say
I just can't stay here every yesterday
Like keep on acting out the same
The way we act out
Every way to smile
Forget
And make-believe we never needed
Any more than this
Any more than this

And every time I try to pick it up
Like falling sand
As fast as I pick it up
It runs away through my clutching hands
But there's nothing else I can really do
There's nothing else I can really do
There's nothing else
I can really do
At all...

Helena
Long ago
Just like the hearse you died to get in again
We are so far from you

Burning on just like a match you strike to incinerate
The lives of everyone you know
And what's the worst to take, from every heart you break (heart you break)
And like a blade you stain
Well I've been holding on tonight

[Chorus]
What's the worst that I could say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight

Came a time
When every star fall brought you to tears again
We are the very heart you sold
And what's the worst you take, from every heart you break
And like a blade you stain
Well I've been holding on tonight

[Chorus]
What's the worst that I could say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight

Well if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight

Can you hear me?
Are you near me?
Can we pretend
To leave, and then,
we'll meet again,
When both our cars collide?

[Chorus]
What's the worst that I could say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight

Well if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight

Sports Carnival

Today was the sports carnival for the upper secondary pupils. And yeah most of us participated in sports, except a few exceptions who skipped the entire event. Well I took part in volleyball, and had a fun time whacking the balls. Not to mention whacking the ball out of the court 3-4 times, causing some pupils to run back and forth picking up the balls, and got hit on the face by JunTing with the volleyball. Belverde didn't win the volleyball event, but the soccer boys did well by clenching the 1st place. Amazing match it was when it all came down to the finals between Strathmore. The match was all tensed up when the scores were leveled. The match eventually ended with a draw, but in overall Belverde still scored more than Strathmore. Way to go guys!!

Green Day

She's A Rebel
She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous

She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction

From Chicago to Toronto
She's the one that they
Call old whatsername

She's the symbol
of resistance
and she's holding on my
heart like a hand grenade

Is she dreaming
what I'm thinking
is she the mother of all bombs
gonna detonate

Is she trouble
like I'm trouble
make it a double
twist of fate
or a melody that

She sings the revolution
the dawning of our lives
she brings the liberation
that I just cant define
nothing comes to mind

She's a rebel
She's a saint
She's salt of the earth
And she's dangerous

She's a rebel
Vigilante
Missing link on the brink
Of destruction

She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's
dangerous
She's a rebel, She's a rebel, She's a rebel, And she's
dangerous

Cussing

Sex!! Received more results today. English, Humanities, Chinese, A.Math and Physics. Nothing seems to be worth mentioning for Humanities, and the languages...Because the marking scheme totally sucks! I fucking failed my Chinese Oral can you believe that? Usually no matter how lousy I spoke during my Chinese Oral, I would at least get a pass. Like last year when I got 23/30. Fuck ZHOU LIANG!

As for A.Math, it was a dramatic scene. Paper 1 was distributed first, followed by Paper 2. When I saw 42.5/80 on my Paper 1, I was so fucking shocked! What the fucked happened to my grades!?!?!? I lost to Cynthia, Kian Teon, Wai Ip and alot more fuckers in Paper 1. But when all of us got back Paper 2. My expression changed. I scored a fucking unbelievable 71.5/76! OMG WTF HAX!! It freaking pulled my grades up to an A2...And yeah won Kian Teon. Didn't win my lemon barley bet with him, cause he won me in E.Math. But what the heck, our scores are even now...

Tomorrow getting back our finalised English marks...Hope Mdm Yani could be merciful, and give me my deserved 2 marks and pass my fucking comprehension paper. Well L1R5 not even close to my targets...At least a 17 and at most a 16...10 points is like out of reach for me at the moment...But I'm working hard..Watch out you people!

Release of Results

Exams results released, some bursted into joy, while some sulked at a corner. As for me, it was kinda neutral. Cause some my friends around me didn't do so well either. Got backed only my Chinese Paper2, Chemistry, Biology and Emath so far.. Didn't really fare well for my Chinese. Oh well, I saw it coming anyway. Check the left column of my blog for my MidYear Exam results. Don't be shock.

Post Examinations Thoughts

Finally the exam stress has subsided..Though I didn't really study for my Mid-Year Examinations. Went to school today for my Chinese Listening and Chemistry Paper 1. With the heavy rain falling down on to earth, and the fans in the hall blowing like a hurricane, hardly anyone was able to hear the damn chinese fucking speak.
Before my Chemistry Paper 1, found out from my Chinese teacher that I flunked my Chinese Paper 2, and Ms Khoo told me that our class did badly for our Social Studies essay. The day didn't get any better, Mr Ng told us that XingCai was the only guy who scored an A1 for Physics Paper 2.

Headed to my place after school for some entertainment. Wilson, Lincoln, KianTeon, Jerry and Wai Ip went playing Winning Eleven 8 on the Xbox. With only 1 xbox controller, they were all arguing on the order of play. While waiting, Jerry came to the computer and flashed some old Rocky movie trailers..Cool though.

After the crowd went to their respective destinations, I took a shower and went to sleep till 6pm, when I realised that nobody has messaged me on the venue to meet for the movie outing that night. Guess what? It was cancelled again. Bloody fucking movie outings got cancelled twice or thrice in one bloody month. Left me going to Orchard that night all alone.

Headed to Borders and read some fascinating books. Intended to purchase "Hitch Hikers's Guide to the Galaxy" but the smaller hard cover version of it costs $17 while the larger hard cover version costs around $30+++ forgotten the actual price. Then I took a walk around Shaw, went to the clothing department but didn't find anything eye catching. Took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut which is just 2 stops down. Stoned at the 5th level of Plaza Singapura, staring at some woman washing dishes of this restaurant just 2 levels below me. Sick.

Ended the day at Times Bookshop where I bought my first pen of the year. It was a Papermate Pen (the one with the 2 hearts), black ink, and costs $1.10.
Well tomorrow is going to be a long arduous day, receiving fucked up exam scripts from our teachers. Good luck to all fuckers who took the Mid-Year exams. Cheers.

During the Examinations

Just woke up from my afternoon nap...Really was a tiring night last night..Studying Biology and all...Today had my Amath Paper1 and Biology exam, and it was hell difficult. Especially Amath, had lots of screw ups. A inverse, something which i knew at the back of my head, seemed to have dissipated into the freaking atmosphere as the rain came pouring down on us. Heaven must have cried because we were going to fail the Amath exam. Oh well, thank god it's just the Mid-Year exam. But hell, how am I suppose to gauge my standard when there isn't any more exams before the O Levels. Sometimes I thank the teachers for exams, but sometimes I just hate them for tormenting us by making us study so hard for the exam but end up failing still.

Well tomorrow is the Geography and Emath Paper 2 exam. Going to study Manufacturing and Tourism for Geography. As for Emath, I don't really care, cause I probably screwed the Paper 1 too. Hope my grades for Combine Humanities actually improve for once. At least give me a sign that I was actually doing something the past few months.

Wish me luck for tomorrow's exam! All the best to those taking their exams this term too! Peace out!!

Inspiration Post

Drip drip drip comes down the rain,
As time flies by, with my head thumping in pain.

Exams coming our way,
As everyone struggles and pray.
To do our very best, well trying to be gay.

I fucked my revision,
With the blasting television,
And the stinking Brownian Motion.

Oral Examinations

I'm finally done with all the Oral examinations for my prelims and midyear...Today was EL Oral, my heart thumped faster as the clock ticked by the minute. I managed to speak the best of my ability but still had some screw ups in the last paragraph. With many continuous prompts from Mrs Dusk during the Picture and Conversation, I might soon be the worst among the class.
Well tomorrow will be my EL Paper 1 and 2, hope I can beat Wai Ip!!! He's the best in compre in our class man..It'll be such a glorious moment to beat him in EL, not to also mention James, Kah Ming and Jerry...oh yeah Amanda too..

After oral, Jerry, Wai Ip, Tint Khine, Matthew, Lincoln and I went to IKEA to grab a bite at their famous sizzling hot dogs..Chilled at the cafeteria for a while before separating into pairs, each going their own direction.

Oh yeah, the match between Liverpool and Chelsea last night, was 1-0. Damn...Lincoln, Kian Teon and Wai Ip won money...Tonight's the match between A.C. Milan and PSV..Got a feeling AC Milan would win again, like the previous match, 2-0. Well only time can tell..

Sex is just another word,
With many meanings one might have heard.
But just like dirt,
People despise, spit and burp.

Constellations in the skies,
Telling us where our future lies.
Like a diamond shining bright,
Venus is stunning, oh what a sight!

XphoneII Pictures

Its morning and church is at 11am. Told my parents to leave for church without me, while I can slack through the morning at home, then make my way to Bishan by bus.

Well since I've nothing to do, I'm gonna post some lame pictures taken by my Xphone II in the past week. I mean it. It's either lame or fucked.

Mike and Wai Ip sleeping away during SS, while Lincoln and I rushed to hand in the essay.

Matthew sucking his thumb. For god knows why.

Cynthia talking on her phone, while we're at Queenstown Library studying.

Ended the day with a beautiful sky. While Cynthia, Wai Ip and I made our way home from the library.

Back After 2 Month Break

Well hi there world :D Greetings to you after 2 months without blogging. Blogging to me is something to do when you're really bored and feels that everything around you is fucked. Well I'm having the time of my life, though my mid-year exams are around the bend...Next week..

Yesterday had my Chinese Prelim Oral Exam, didn't know that I can talk that much thrash in Chinese..Was feeling gay when Juan told me that I spoke so fluently :D Of coz..In reality that was totally wrong.

After school, I went with Chorkiat, Matthew, Gwong, WanLin to Juan's house to play some games...The usual was there PS2 and PC. Surprisingly the dog was kept away :D We played Monopoly, which was dominated by Matthew. The 3-4 houses in each of his land, made me bankrupt as I rolled the dice. Gwong joined me in the Bankrupts' Club soon after.

At night, Kianteon, Matthew, Tint Khine, Wai Ip, and I met at Plaza Singapura for a movie...We watched XXX2. It isn't some porn movie mind u...Well overall the movie was exciting and has a good storyline, but the effects are too computerized. After the movie we went home, with kianteon and wai ip taking the bus. Leaving Matthew, Tint Khine and I walking home :) We had a fun time chit-chatting as we walked into the night.

What a fucking week!!! Crazy tests coming in everyday... No time to even freaking blog. One day is this and the next day is another... Today my class was suppose to receive a Social Studies test, but guess what? It was postponed to Friday... Fucking rushed for no reason... Vocabulary test also got postponed to Monday(Thank God). Stayed back in school today with Lincoln for A.Math, then went to play soccer at the basketball court. Still picturing the image where I let the goal in. Now i'm heading to bed...Early eh? 7pm :D

Sugarcult

Hell, today was fast...At least Biology class, turned out much interesting. Well removed my black nail polish, wanted to paint my left nails black for Friday. But yeah chicke-nd out after thinking of the unimaginable things that teachers would do to me. Here's a song for you guys who actually reads my blog...

She's the Blade

Don't you make a move tonight
You can only stagger
Once shes got you in her sight
You're the one shes after

Shes the blade and you're just paper
You're afraid cause shes got closer
You're back-steppin and back-stabbing everything in your life

She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back
She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back

One by one you count the fights
Doesn't even matter
That shes got you by surprise
Misery's your master

Shes the blade and you're just paper
You're afraid cause shes got closer
Your back-steppin and shes out wrecking everything in your life

She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back
She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back

She stole everything
She controlled everything
She stole everything
She controlled everything

Shes the blade
Shes the blade
Shes the blade and you're the paper
Shes the blade and you're just...

Shes the blade and you're just paper
You're afraid cause shes got you closer

She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back
She stole everything your heart desired
Now you want it back

She stole everything
She controlled everything
She stole everything
And controlled everything

English Test

Damn, I just woke up from my sleep and guess what, it's 12am... So yeah I decided to blog another post. Today (27th) I'm having my English Speech test + Vocabulary test. No worries about the Vocab test, just having slight worries about the speech test. I'm always having that feeling that I'll screw my tests up, even when I know the thing thoroughly. Tests such as my previous Math and Physics tests, I totally blew it just at that last second. Unlike the nonpareil Wai Ip, who excels in all his tests even though he sleeps in class. Well I'm going to give a shot on the introduction of a speech.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am very honoured to be here today, to talk about my nominee for this year's Head Prefect, Maung Tint Khine. I am sure that most of you have heard of his name, either through friends or teachers. Respectably known for his leadership qualities and sportsmanship, he has led many groups during the past few years in Queenstown. The most memorable experience that I have and maybe to some of you too, was the time in the Secondary 3 camp.

Ah..I think it sucks...Anyways I'm off to go through the model passage again before going back to sleep again.

Revived

Well felt like blogging this year again, hopefully I could keep to my commitment of blogging when I've the time. Today ended pretty fast, maybe cause my CCA ended just 1/2 hour earlier. Well just traded in the Interactive Geography textbook and workbook with the bookshop auntie, for 2 t-shirts 1 scrapbook and a correction fluid. Went to school with my left pinky painted with black nail polish, and freaked some of my friends out. Well lucky for me that no teachers have seen it yet. Scored a freaking B4 for my first English test of the year, and flunked my Math test due to careless labelling. Had the Physics test on Light, and it was freaking easy, except another freaking careless mistake on the question of magnification. Well, got to go through another agonising night of Chinese and Geography.
